Sealshot 0.6.0 made recording a first-class citizen and introduced encrypted sharing.

What’s new since 0.5.1

• Share packages — export selected captures as an encrypted .sealshare package protected by a passcode (⇧⌘E), and open packages you receive (⌘O, drag and drop, or the File menu). See Sharing.
• Region and window recording — record a chosen region or window through the capture overlay, not just the full screen, with a pre-roll countdown.
• Recordings live in the Library — recordings are stored alongside your captures, encrypted at rest with Enhanced Security, and play in an in-app player.
• Floating recording HUD — a draggable control to pause, resume, and stop an in-progress recording. See Screen recording.
• Clearer microphone audio — a new Reduce microphone noise option suppresses background noise and levels your voice, on device.
• Menu bar rebuilt — a persistent status item with full capture and recording controls, and each command’s keyboard shortcut shown inline.
• Security — the Privacy & Security settings are gated behind Touch ID / password while Enhanced Security is on; view or regenerate your recovery code, replace the encryption key, and set an idle auto-lock.
• Better scrolling capture — smarter stitching and recovery on long, lazy-loading pages.
