If Sealshot isn't right for you, email [email protected] within 30 days of buying and we'll refund it in full.

Try it before you pay

Sealshot has a 14-day free trial with every feature unlocked and no account required. Most reasons for a refund are things the trial would have shown you first, so we'd rather you used it — and if you bought without trying, that's still no obstacle to a refund.

How it works

Purchases are handled by Polar, our merchant of record, so the refund is processed by them and returns to the card you paid with. Email us, or reply to your Polar receipt — either reaches us. It usually completes within a few business days, depending on your bank.

You don't have to give a reason. If something specific didn't work we'd genuinely like to hear it, because that's how the app gets better — but it's never a condition.

After a refund

The license is revoked, and Sealshot returns to its unlicensed state. Nothing you captured is deleted or locked. Your library stays on your Mac, readable and exportable — the same as when a trial ends.

How that works, since it's reasonable to wonder: revoked license IDs are published in a small public list that Sealshot downloads and checks on your Mac. Your license ID is never sent anywhere, and there is no server that Sealshot asks about you — see the privacy policy.

Renewals

An update renewal ($17.99) is covered by the same 30 days. Since renewing only extends how long you receive new versions, and your existing version keeps working either way, refunding a renewal simply returns your update window to where it was.

Volume licenses

Business and volume licenses are quoted and invoiced individually, so their terms are agreed in that quote rather than here. Email [email protected].
